Bodrean's central location makes it an excellent base to explore Cornwall, just a car hop from beautiful sandy beaches, plenty of walks, water based activities, a diverse range of visitor attractions and Cornwall's great gardens.
You will find Bodrean Manor Farm at the end of a long driveway lined by trees and Rhododendrons. Over the past 10 years Michele and Andy have renovated and restored Bodrean's characterful Cornish Longhouse and lovingly transformed the large gardens into a relaxing sanctuary for guests. New for 2011 are 3 holiday lets, each individual in its style with own its garden area, perfectly private for you to enjoy peace, quiet and space.
Just a few miles away from the city of Truro, Bodrean is in close proximity to a variety of local pubs, restaurants, bars and cafes perfect for evening meals.
Relax in a cosy country style room with a view, refreshingly uncluttered and designed with your comfort in mind. Wake to the delicious smell of freshly baked bread and, for the perfect start to your day enjoy a sumptuous full English breakfast made from local produce.
On the breakfast menu:
Breakfast is a relaxed affair, with views of the garden in the summertime and warmed by a log fire in the cold of winter.
Michele sources the majority of the produce locally. A huge hit with guests, Michele makes the bread daily, the bacon is supplied by our local smokery in Grampound and the sausages are locally produced and supplied by Michele's favourite shop, Kingslay Village. Add a generous portion of large field mushrooms cooked in butter and you will be perfectly set up for the day.
Andy is always up with the lark collecting the fresh eggs from his free range hens each morning, cooked to your liking. Andy's girls enjoy quality b & b themselves including the last of the Michele's freshly baked bread for breakfast, and cosy straw beds - as a result the eggs are delicious!
Also on the menu is plenty of fresh fruit and homemade fresh fruit salad, cereals and a selection of Cornish jams and honey from our local farmers market in Truro.
Each room has been lovingly designed by Michele and her daughter Mel who both enjoy interior design and spend many hours decorating the rooms each year.
