Brian and Alison extend a warm welcome to Oakleigh Lodge, a family run B&B located in the heart of Cornwall. With 10 years experience in the B&B business in Cornwall, we endeavour to offer you a comfortable and pleasant stay for your visit in our beautiful county. We are ideally situated a mile away from St Austell railway station and the charming harbour village of Charlestown.
We have a choice of four bedrooms available for our guests, all providing a colour television, tea/coffee making facilities and wardrobes. We have a variety of accommodation depending on your needs to include Double, twin or single occupancy. A child's bed can be provided on request for a small extra charge. Two of our rooms have en suite facilities and the other two have access to a large shared bathroom. We can provide ironing facilities and hairdryers on request.
A full English breakfast or vegetarian option is served in our beautiful sun lounge which overlooks the garden.
We can also provide a high chair if required.
Prior to running the B&B we ran a wholesale nursery and still grow many plants from seeds and cutting. This is the place to stay if you want to pick up a few herbs or plants for your garden as a souvenier of your visit.
Some of Cornwall's most famous local attractions are situated very close by, including the Eden Project (4 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (7 miles), making Oakleigh Lodge the ideal place to stay when visiting some of the sights in our beautiful county.
We are also only a short drive away from some beautiful coastline, harbours and villages; in addition to the famous tall ships at Charlestown, we would recommend a visit to the beautiful fishing village of Mevagissey (6 miles), or the historic Port at Fowey (8 miles), or perhaps a scenic coastal walk on one of our local beaches including Pentewan sands and Porthpean.
