St Mawes
Just over 7 miles south of Truro, St Mawes is on the end of the Roseland Peninsula, popular and an exclusive sailing centre in the shelter of the Carrick Roads. St Mawes is a pretty village with a long seafront and some very pleasant cafes, restaurants and pubs. The village itself is quite small with the majority of what is available directly on the harbour/sea front. There are three hotels, three pubs, various restaurants, tea rooms and a variety of small shops.
