An excellent sandy beach backed by large sand dunes. To one side is Trevose Head to the other leading around the point to Treyarnon Bay there are numerous rock pools popular with children hunting crabs and small fish. Some of the pools are large enough to swim in.
The beach is very popular with families and surfers. It is immediately to the east of and sheltered by the imposing Trevose Headland.

Parking: Small car park, probably better to park at Treyarnon Bay and walk along the cliff path (10 mins)
Lifeguard: Yes, during the summer months.
Dogs: Permitted
Surfing: Yes, can be very good on light easterlies. Be wary of rip currents, they can be extreme.
