Just east of the Lizard this is a popular sandy beach, quite long at low tide but is split into two at high tide making two beaches, east and west. The beach is very popular with families as it has soft sand, rock pools and a little stream running through it. Being very flat the beach has a big tidal range and being more exposed to the Atlantic has some good surf when conditions permit, this can reach 4/5 feet. Most surfing is on the east beach.
