LOCATION

Feel free to take a pleasant quiet evening or morning walk around Heatham to listen to birds singing lambs bleating and not cars roaring as Heatham has its own private drive. Heatham is surrounded by 350 Acres of quality picturesque agriculture land. The well managed farm runs a 40 cow pedigree registered herd of British Limousins which graze around the fields of the farm sharing the grazing with 550 breeding ewes and their offspring. This busy working farm through the summer months grows 85 acres of Barley Wheat, Oats and Maize, which is all conserved to be fed to the animals through the winter months. Young calves are reared on the farm during the summer months, where guests are welcome to help feed them either in the morning or evening. If you wish you can work up an appetite before breakfast by taking in the Cornish fresh air and accompany Roland as he checks and feeds the stock. A walk around the farm will take you through fields and lovely quiet woodlands into the National Trust Forest of Coombe Valley and ultimately to the sandy beaches of Duckpool and Sandymouth. Rugged cliff walks alomg the coastal paths will take you to Bude going South or the famous Hawker Hut at Morwenstowe church if you wish to walk north.
