LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Convenient for the towns of Falmouth and Helston, and the famous sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. Also nearby is the creekside village of Gweek with its renowned seal sanctuary, beyond which is the gateway to the Lizard Peninsula with its rugged moors and sandy beaches.

The Mill is situated close to the glorious Helford River, a tidal estuary with some of the most picturesque views in Cornwall. The Helford provides a sheltered location for sailing, with access to Falmouth Bay for the more adventurous. The mild climate of the region is responsible for the fabulous sub-tropical gardens that abound in the area with the properties of Trebah and Glendurgan must-see attractions. Nearby is the famous Gweek Seal Sanctuary, offering a home for injured and rehabilitating seals.
Further afield, The Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly point in Britain, offers sandy beaches, rugged coves, fishing hamlets, and some of the most stunning scenery in Cornwall.
The towns of Helston and Falmouth are nearby, offering local shopping and amenities, as well as attractions. The cathedral city of Truro lies about 10 miles away.
The Mill is conveniently located for exploring much of the rest of Cornwall. Please do not hesitate to ask if you require information or suggestions to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.
