CHARLESTOWN: 10 minute drive. A lovely little harbour famous for its Tall Ships but it also has an excellent Maritime Museum and good pubs/restaurants. Fishing from the harbour wall is also a popular pastime. MEVAGISSEY: 15 minute drive. A very popular destination with its scenic fishing harbour, quaint little streets, novelty shops, pubs/restaurants. Boat/fishing trips are available from the harbour including a passenger ferry to Falmouth taking in all the local headlands. FOWEY: 20 minute drive. Again, a popular destination, an extremely old town at the mouth of the River Fowey. NEWQUAY AND NORTH COAST: 20 minute drive.
From St Austell take the A3058 Newquay road. One mile from St Austell you will enter the little village of Trewoon, take the first turning on the left. No. 9 is a short distance on the left.
