ACCOMMODATION
The Hen House is a tranquil haven embracing both countryside & coast in West Cornwall offering a perfect base for touring this picturesque area. Gary & Sandy offer a warm welcome and a relaxing atmosphere. 2 double en-suite B&B rooms with king size beds and free Wifi.
Puno is a large room on the ground floor of the main barn with a huge en-suite shower, king sized bed, two lounge chairs, fridge,free-view television and DVD player with stable door opening onto the courtyard garden.
Mopani also has a king sized bed with velux windows overhead for stargazing from the bed and bath. It has a large en-suite bathroom with bath and shower above. There are 2 lounge chairs with coffee table, satellite tv with DVD and a stable door opening onto a decked area with outdoor table and chairs. This room also has an optional fully equipped kitchen which is available for a small nightly supplement.
**Self-catering for Mopani - £60 per night in June & £65 per night in July**
We also have a self-catering barn for 2 people with gallery bedroom and king sized bed. On the ground floor is an open plan lounge with 2 leather armchairs and a double leather sofa. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining table and chairs. For cosy nights in there is a wood burning stove,satellite tv and DVD player. The bathroom has an extra large shower.
This barn also has an outdoor table and chairs on a decked area.
We have our own private wild flower meadow (where our wood fired hot tub is situated),apple orchard, duck pond, wild life pond and courtyard garden which is fairy it at night. Here guests gather around the chiminea to share travellers tales
Hearty breakfast platters of local food are served in our wooden dining chalet surrounded by birdsong.
We provide masses of information on local walks, places to eat, gardens, craft galleries, sports etc.

Gardens located nearby are Trebah, Glendurgan, Bosahan and Bonython. Museums include The National Maritime museum, the Lizard Lighthouse, Marconi & Lizard wireless stations, Helston museum and Poldark mine. We are located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with coast, heathland and the Helford river nearby. Local beaches include Kennack sands, Coverack, Kynance cove, Mullion harbour and Cadgwith.
Other attractions include Trelowarren woods and craft galleries, Roskilly's Farm & Bull Pen Gallery and places to surf, sail, windsurf, kayak, fish or dive.
There are many restaurants, pubs and cafes locally (many dog friendly) to suite all tastes and budgets. Most specialise in locally souced foods and delicacies.
There are a vast range of walks to choose from whether you are looking for a short amble around the river estuary, beaches and woodland or a 12 mile hike around the coastal path.
DIRECTIONS
From Helston take the A3083 to The Lizard and just past RNAS Culdrose turn left onto the B3293 to St. Keverne. Go through Garras and take a left just after the white double gate houses of Trelowarren estate signposted to Newtown St. Martin. At the T junction turn right and follow this lane for 2.3 miles into the hamlet of Tregowris. The road then forks to the left and round 7 bends. Take the right turn down the hill at the triangulation point to Tregarne and we are the last house on the right, just after Tregarne farmhouse.
