LOCATION
The Caerthillian is a large Victorian house situated in the heart of the picturesque village of The Lizard. The village boasts England's most southerly point and popular with visitors from all over the world.
ACCOMMODATION
The guest house, having recently changed hands has been renovated and decorated to a high standard and prides itself in offering excellent accommodation in a tranquil atmosphere where guests can relax and unwind. The spacious bedrooms all have en-suite facilities, television/video, complimentary refreshment tray, some with sea views overlooking Kynance Cove. Spacious dining area with separate tables. Generous full English breakfast with special requests catered for by prior arrangement.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
Good pubs, restaurants, tea rooms, gift shops and essential supplies in the village. The Lizard is famous for its beautiful coastal scenery. It is an easy walk to Kynance Cove and the coastal footpath. Enjoy breathtaking views from 200' cliffs at the ever-changing mood of the Atlantic Ocean. The Lizard Lighthouse, with its commanding position above the cliffs, is particularly interesting to visit. There has been a light to guide mariners since 1619, and it continues to burn today, still safeguarding seafarers around this treacherous headland. The village is the home of the serpentine industry. You can watch local craftsmen turning the stone, which is unique to The Lizard, and perhaps buy a souvenir to remind you of your visit. The church of St Winwalloe, at Church Cove dates from AD 600, beautiful and peaceful, it is well worth taking time to spend a few moments there.
Touring The Lizard as its name suggests forms part of one of Cornwall's most beautiful regions, The Lizard Peninsula. Numerous sandy coves, little fishing villages and wide open headlands, is it any wonder many visitors return year after year. Attractions within easy reach include: The Minack Open air Theatre (As web site under 'attractions' on the front page) St Ives - famous for its galleries including the Tate, beautiful sandy beaches. Helford River Frenchman's Creek Numerous country houses and gardens Flambards Theme Park The Seal Sanctuary at Gweek Fishing, sailing, golf, horse riding are all available closeby. Cornwall's latest attraction, The Eden Project, is just over an hours drive

On entering the village you will see the 'Top House' pub on your right. At this point turn right, the Caerthillian is just 50 yards on your right.
