Located on the edge of St Keverne village where local events still thrive. Good small shops and two excellent pubs each serving traditional home cooked food. For walkers Trevinock is on the S. W. Coastal footpath with outstanding local sea views of the notorious Manacle Rocks. Local beaches at: Coverack - a picturesque fishing harbour with a sandy beach and rock pools for children Kynance Cove Numerous small beaches - your hosts will be happy to advise
Goonhilly Earth Station Flambards Theme Park Minack open air theatre Helford River Estuary - one of the most beautiful areas in Cornwall. Trebah Gardens - not to be missed by garden enthusiasts, very unusual plants overlooking the Helford Estuary. Roskilly Farm Ice Cream Visitor Centre. (very popular) The Manacles - notorious rocks, popular with divers exploring the many wrecks. Fishing - deep sea from Coverack, excellent rock and pier. The nearest major town is Helston, - a short drive with good shopping, banks etc. Penzance/St. Ives - both within easy reach with trips to the Scilly Isles and excellent surfing beaches.
