The Situation

A small guest house situated just off the main road leading into the picturesque coastal village of St. Mawes.

It is positioned just out of the village centre away from the Summer hustle and bustle yet within easy access to this popular estuary destination.

St. Mawes is situated on the Fal Estuary with Falmouth directly across the river.
The Accommodation

Two bedrooms both twin en-suite.  They have the added advantage of having their own private entrance with access at all times.  Each could be described as a private flat with a shared lounge /dining area.  Both are tastefully decorated and provided with colour television and tea/coffee facilities.

There is also direct access to a private sun patio where a BBQ may be used.

Use of BBQ, kitchen for cooking an evening meal, by arrangement.

Excellent full English breakfast provided.  Vegetarians catered for.

Local attractions:

St. Mawes is a popular all year round destination for many visitors.  It is situated at the mouth of the Fal Estuary where the rivers Fal and Percuil meet the sea.

The village provides all the day to day requirements and there is a selection of restaurants , pubs and tea rooms.

Walks along the river front, around the village and up to the Castle  are popular day to day pastimes.

The area is famous as a sailing resort and boats from all over Europe often anchor in the river.

There is a regular ferry service to Falmouth with its excellent shops and beaches.

Boat trips and  hire boats are available from the harbour.

St. Mawes is at the heart of the Roseland Peninsula with numerous places to visit and explore:

Veryan village with its thatched round houses
