The Situation

Harbour View is situated in a prime position directly on the harbourside just a short walk to the town centre with all its amenities, 5 minutes to Porthgwidden beach, Porthmeor surfing beach and the famous Tate Gallery.

The Accommodation

The building consists of 4 self-contained holiday apartments.

Apartment 1, 2 & 3

Sleeps 4-6 persons.  Each apartment has a living room with bay window overlooking the harbour, full size double bed settee, colour television, open plan kitchen with microwave, electric cooker, fridge etc.  Apartment 1 & 2 have one bedroom with harbour views, double bed plus 2 single bunk beds.  Apartment 3 has 2 bedrooms both with harbour views, double bed in bedroom 1 and 2 full size single bunks in bedroom 2.  Bathrooms are fitted with electric shower over bath, and W.C. 

Apartment 4

-is an open plan studio apartment situated on the top floor with patio doors opening onto a large balcony with superb views of the harbour across Porthminster beach and beyond.  The apartment can accommodate up to four persons.  Open plan fitted kitchen and dining area.  Large lounge with colour television, concealed full size double bed and full size double bed settee.  Bathroom with electric shower over bath and W.C.  For larger families-up to eight persons, apartment 3 & 4 although on separate floors, have an interconnecting door on floor 3.

Welcome to glorious St Ives 

Mining, farming and fishing shaped St Ives.  Fishing being the dominant force in the 19th century with over 400 boats involved in pilchard fishing.  St Ives is famous for its picturesque harbour, cobbled streets and artist community.

During your stay you can walk around the tiny streets visiting the many interesting shops, craft and art galleries including the famous Tate or just relax on one of the many beaches or swim in the crystal clear sea. 

In the evening check out the fresh sea food restaurants or sample the local ale in one of the many quaint pubs.
