Mevagissey and Gorran Haven, amidst narrow winding country lanes, lies Lower Meadow Barn. This once derelict barn has been skillfully and imaginatively transformed into a lovely rural retreat. Natural woods and reclaimed timbers are much in evidence with lofty, beamed ceilings and polished wood floors adorned with colourful rugs all adding together to emphasise the open aspect of the main living rooms. |

accommodation offers : Ground floor lounge/diner which boasts an immense stone fireplace with a seasoned oak mantle housing a livivg flame gas fire. Overlooking this, is a further galleried lounge. Well fitted kitchen. Large bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, basin and W.C. Four good sized bedrooms, two doubles, one en-suite and two twin rooms (sleeps up to eight). A large wood decked patio. Other amenities include: full central heating, T.V. Video music centre, dishwasher, microwave, automatic washing machine, fridge and barbecue. Duvets on beds with bed linen and towels provided. |

| From the A390 at St.Austell, follow directions to Mevagissey. After Pentewan camp site, turn right at the crossroads at the top of the hill, signposted Gorran Haven. Follow this road, past the Lost Gardens of Heligan to the second crossroads signposted Lancallan Farm. Turn left and continue on this road taking the first right after approx. 1 mile signposted Polsue and Lancallan Farm. Follow this road past Lancallen Farm until you see a lane going straight down signposted Galowras. Go down the lane and take the first left, onto a gravelled drive which leads you down to Lower Meadow Barn. |
