Local
attractions: |
|
|
In
the farm barns and fields there are calves, cows, pigs ponies,
ducks, hens and pets galore.
They are all great favourites with the children, who are
welcome to help on the farm, collecting the eggs, feeding the
calves and bringing in the cows.
Riding and grooming the ponies and having a tractor ride
are wonderful diversions for the youngsters whilst mum and dad
relax or go for an evening stroll.
Cornwall
is only a small county with the Atlantic Ocean on three sides,
nowhere is far away, virtually anywhere can be reached within an
hour.
The
beaches around Newquay, (described as the best in Europe) are very
popular.
Just laze on the sand, swim or surf.
The world surfing championships have been held on Fistral
beach which is about a ten minute drive from the farm.
Newquay
is the most popular resort in Cornwall and offers a large variety
of activities.
Not only the beaches, it has good shopping, numerous
restaurants, pubs, amusement centres, a zoo, tennis courts,
boating lake, from the harbour there are boat trips and deep sea
fishing, the list is endless.
For those wishing for a more peaceful holiday Jean will be
only too happy to help. There are so many things to do in Cornwall
local maps and books are provided
to help in planning your holiday.
