The Situation
Welcome to Panalba Guest House, St. Ives, Cornwall
Panalba Guest House is situated in the Penwith District of Cornwall. It has some of the most spectacular coast line in England, and some of the best golden beaches. St. Ives itself, is noted for the beautifully designed Tate Gallery overlooking Porthmeor Beach, which is known worldwide for its magnificent surf. The town itself offers a wide range of art galleries, gift shops, restaurants, and pubs, with plenty of Cornish atmosphere.

We can offer you comfortable accommodation with full English breakfast, or just accommodation only. We have ample free parking and are within 400 meters of the famous golden beaches and the quaint town of St. Ives.
The Accommodation
All of the rooms have double beds, central heating and full ensuite facilities. Also in the rooms is a colour television set, hairdryer, clock radio, soap, towels, and a beverage tray.

Rooms with sea views are available, as is ample free parking at the rear of the premises. You also have all day access to your accommodation.

We do not accommodate children or pets and we also maintain a strict no smoking policy. For your safety we are in possession of a current fire certificate.

Breakfasts are prepared in our farm house style kitchen on a traditional Aga cooker. The food is primarily cerial, fruit juice or grapefruit, followed by a full English breakfast, and toast, tea or coffee to finish. However we will cater for all needs with prior consultaion.

Porthminster Water Sports is run by us on Porthminster beach. We are a sited small craft and equipment hire shop. We are ideally suited to the individual tourist, as well as larger groups seeking a fun day out. We are fully insured, and have professional lifeguards on duty throughout the summer. We can also offer basic tuition and supervision.

One of the most popular resorts in Cornwall, a favourite with artists made evident with all the galleries including the Tate.
The town itself is a maze of quaint little cobbled streets with High street shops, a wide variety of speciality shops, a wide selection of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.
Four main beaches surround the town, from safe bathing in the harbour for young children to surfing the Atlantic rollers.
Cliff walks directly from the hotel can be enjoyed to Porthkidney Sands and Lelant to the East and St Ives to the West.
