How to get to Sedgemoor Heights

Getting to Sedgemoor Heights is easy. Below are some easy to follow directions. Those travelling by car have off road parking at the front of the main house.

Sedgemoor Heights is also very close to the town centre - it is walking distance from the railway/coach station (about 10 minutes).

By Train or Coach to St. Austell Railway Station

The house is a 10-minute walk from the train and bus stations. Turn right as you leave the station and walk through the car park. Turn left by the green footbridge and walk down the hill, passing the vets on the right. At the bottom of this street you will see a church directly ahead of you. Turn right. Walk through the pedestrianised Fore Street. Pass Woolworths and WH Smith on your left. At the end of the pedestrianised street at the iron gates, go right and follow the main road up the little hill (past Klick photo shop on your right). You are now on Bodmin Road. Pass the public car park and St. Johns church on your right. We are 200 yards further up the hill on the right hand side. Look out for the Sedgemoor Heights Bed & Breakfast sign. [Do not call at Sedgemoor Housethey get upset!] Walk up the steps and ring the bell to the right of the door.

By car from the A30

Follow the A30 to the Innis Down roundabout. Turn onto the A391, sign-posted St. Austell. Follow the A391, through Bugle and Stenalees, until you reach the roundabout - Take the second exit sign-posted Carthew, the Clay Museum, B3274.[Ignore the sign to St. Austell at this point.]
Follow the B3274. Pass the Clay Museum on the right. After approximately 1 mile you go under a viaduct, entering St Austell. Our house is approx. 300 yards further along on the left. Look out for a stone wall and the Sedgemoor Heights sign.
Turn left into the drive, and walk up the steps to ring the bell next to the big green and black door.

By car from the A390 travelling west

Follow the A390 until you reach the double roundabout with McDonalds on the left. Move into the right hand lane and turn right, following the sign to St. Austell town centre.
Follow the road up hill to the next roundabout - Take the first exit left. Follow the road past the multi-storey car park on the right. At the next T-junction, turn right. The road bends sharply to the left - follow the road round, passing St Johns church on the right.
Sedgemoor Heights is on the right hand side about 300 yards after the sharp bend. Look out for the Sedgemoor Heights sign. Turn right into the drive in front of the property.

By car from the A390 travelling east

Follow the A390 from Truro towards St Austell. As you approach St Austell, you will go down and then up a steep hill at St Mewan (you will pass a school on your left). As you decend the other side of this hill, turn left, sign-posted Town Centre and Newquay. You will immediately meet a set of traffic lights, go straight on.
At the next set of traffic lights (Video Bug on your left) go straight on.
As the road bends sharply left, follow it round, passing the church on your right. Sedgemoor Heights is on the right hand side about 300 yards after the sharp bend. Look out for the Sedgemoor Heights sign. Turn right into the drive and go up the steps to ring the bell
