Wheal Lodge is situated in a superb position just above the sea in
a select part of the Cornish Riviera, the lovely Carlyon Bay.
This character residence standing in its own grounds is
nicely secluded being surrounded by lawns and trees giving it
complete privacy.
This is Cornwall'� gentle coast which enjoys a sub
tropical climate with miles of magnificent coastline, fine
beaches, historic towns, quaint harbours, romantic fishing
villages and National Trust houses and gardens.
Golfing enthusiasts will be pleased that the lodge is
directly opposite Carlyon Bay Golf Club.

Wheal
Lodge has genuine old fashioned charm and a homely atmosphere,
with an attractive lounge, spacious dining room with licensed bar
offering excellent continental or traditional English breakfast
� delicious home cooked food with quality and quantity both
equally assured and for which the lodge is well known.
Jeanne came runner up in the UK for AA Landlady of the Year
-
1998.
There
are six tastefully furnished bedrooms, five of which are on the
ground floor, the sixth is on its own upstairs and is the
'�Honeymoon Suite� complete with balcony.
All the bedrooms have private facilities, five with private
bathrooms and one with private shower room.
Each bedroom has colour television with remote control,
bedside clock radio, tea and coffee making courtesy trays,
comfortable armchairs and electric blankets in all rooms.
Both public rooms and bedrooms overlook the lawns and the
beautiful gardens.
The
Wheal Lodge has the benefit of full central heating.
A fire certificate has been granted.
You may safely park your car within the spacious grounds.

registration scheme having agreed to abide by the approved

Directions:
From
the M5 take the A38 past the city of Plymouth, over the Tamar
Bridge into Cornwall, at Dobwalls take the A390 to St. Austell.
Just before entering St. Austell, Carlyon Bay is
sign-posted to your left; go under the railway bridge, turn left
at the mini-roundabout and left along Beach Road to the Wheal
Lodge on your right.
