| Wild Air is a large detached luxury dwelling decorated and furnished to a very high standard situated on the edge of the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey. It enjoys outstanding views of the village, harbour and coastline from all the guest bedrooms.

It is situated in an elevated position giving spectacular views over the village, harbour and
Mevagissey Bay and just a few minutes walk from the centre it is an ideal spot to stay.
The beautifully appointed non-smoking bedrooms are spacious, light and airy offering a good range of extras and all with stunning sea views.

Directions
From St Austell take the B3273 to Mevagissey centre, following the one way system through the village and up Polkirt Hill. 'Wild Air' is on the top of the hill on the right hand side opposite the turning bay.

The picturesque 14th century village offers:
A wide variety of shops/restaurants/take-aways/pubs/tea rooms
A picturesque harbour where a variety of pastimes can be enjoyed:
Fishing for mackerel/Pollock/mullet from the harbour wall
Deep sea fishing
Boat trips, including a passenger ferry to Fowey taking in local headlands and beaches.

The nearest town is St Austell, just 10 minutes away - good shopping, leisure centre with swimming pool, multi screen cinema etc.

Lanhydrock House (National Trust) approx 30 min drive
Tall ships and Maritime Heritage Centre at Charlestown. (approx. 20 min. drive)
St Austell is regarded as probably the best Touring base in Cornwall. Virtually anywhere can be reached within an hours drive.
Touring
Cornwall is a beautiful county, but quite small. Much of it can be reached well within an hours drive.
Yours host is well acquainted with the area and will be only too pleased to recommend places to visit or that pub or restaurant for an evening meal.
