Largin Farm sits amidst the beautiful Cornish countryside and is within easy reach of Looe, Polperro and Fowey. A great base for exploring most of Cornwall.
We offer a guest dining room and comfortable lounge together with 3 double ensuite rooms. Inclusive of a hospitality tray, colour TV, hairdryer, fresh linen and fluffy towels.
At Largin Farm the trenches used by the Roundheads during the battle of Braddock Down are still visible, whilst nearby, Largin Wood, is Largin Castle - a camp or fort from the Iron Age. The Eden Project just 9 miles away, Lost gardens of Heligan, Lostwithiel, the antiques capital of Cornwall. Looe with its fishing fleet and Fowey with its beautiful sailing yachts and sometimes a galleon is moored in the harbour. There are many local open gardens which are lovely to visit as well as Cotehele and Lanhydrock House, the jewel in the crown of the National Trust in Cornwall. Many golden beaches are just a few miles away and the North coast with its fantastic surf is only 30 minutes drive. Carolyn is also a popular textile artist, specialising in hand spinning, felt making and weaving. Short courses are available throughout the year. Just ring for details.
We are situated on the A390 between Middle and West Taphouse. 3 miles east of Lostwithiel.
