The Situation
An impressive newly converted barn which has been completed to a very high standard. It retains many of its original features with thick natural stone walls and open beamed ceilings
The barn is situated a quarter of a mile down a private road leading from the A390 which links St Austell & Truro. The major attractions of 'The Eden Project', 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' are just a short drive away.
Ninnis farm is a working farm and is surrounded by open fields. Guests are quite welcome to wander around, there is even a footpath running through leading to the little village of Sticker. (Good pub and essential supplies).
The Accommodation:

Terracotta glazed stone tiles throughout with the exception of the bedrooms which are fully carpeted.
Large dining area.
Entrance from the front into large traditional cream Shaker styled fitted kitchen with integrated appliances.

Ample supply of cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils.
From the kitchen into:
Large dining area with large country styled pine table and matching pine dresser.
Hallway leading off into:
Twin bedroom with wardrobe, bedside cabinets, individual lighting. Fully carpeted (Hairdryer supplied).
Main family bathroom with large shower, corner bath, fully tiled throughout.
Double bedroom with fitted wardrobe, bedside units, individual lighting. Fully carpeted.

Wide choice of good pubs/restaurants within a short drive.
Sticker Village: Good village shop for essential supplies. Good pub serving good food. Accessed either by footpath direct farm the farm or a few minutes drive.
 

  • St Austell town: (5 min. Drive) Large Asda store on the St Austell By-pass. St Austell town centre, choice of shops/tea rooms/multi screen cinema/swimming baths.
    Lost Gardens of Heligan - 10 min. drive

  • Trewithen Gardens - Excellent Cornish cream teas (5 min drive)
    The Eden Project - 15/20 min. drive

  • Mevagissey - a very popular and picturesque fishing village. Passenger ferry to Fowey taking in excellent views of the coastline.

  • Charlestown - Tall ships in this ancient port

  • Lanhydrock House - very popular house and gardens (25 min drive)

  • Truro City - 20 min drive. Magnificent cathedral and best shopping in Cornwall. Also very popular is the scenic boat trip down the Truro River to Falmouth. (An excellent day out)

  • The whole Roseland Peninsula starts at Tregoney which is just 15 mins away
    Golf - choice of courses within a short drive, closest is 5 mins away.

It would be very difficult to choose a better location for touring Cornwall. Most places can be reached within an hour.

  • St Mawes (well worth a visit with various boat trips) - 30 mins
